The new Miss Nigeria 2013 is Anyaoha Ezinne Akudo, 22, who was crowned on July 7th, 2013 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos. The 1st runner-up is Celestine Queen, 21, and the 2nd runner-up Olive Sadiq , 18. Unfortunately, Akudo is not competing in Miss Universe 2013 as the Nigerian franchise is owned by Silverbird Productions which produces The Most Beautiful Girl of Nigeria that sends its winner to Miss Universe.
